Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to Lincoln County Busted Mugshots. Using the site means accepting them. Visitors who do not agree should stop using the site and its search features.

This is a private reference website with no affiliation to Lincoln County, the sheriff, any jail, court, government agency, or corrections department. It cannot confirm custody or supply an official record.

Nature of This Website

The site provides general information about finding official jail, booking, court, corrections, and related public records. It hosts no mugshot gallery or government database. References and links are informational and do not turn the site into an agent of any public office.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site lawfully and in a way that does not harm others or interfere with operation. Users may not attempt unauthorized access, probe security, introduce harmful code, scrape the service in a way that burdens it, impersonate another person, violate privacy rights, or use content to harass, threaten, or misidentify anyone.

No Consumer Reports

Lincoln County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides a consumer report or screening service. Users agree not to use information from these pages or linked search tools for:

  • hiring, firing, or another employment decision;
  • tenant selection or any housing decision;
  • creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
  • licensing, permits, or government-benefit eligibility; or
  • any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links and Outside Services

Links may lead to the Lincoln County jail page, the Lincoln County court portal, the Colorado corrections search, federal locators, legal resources, news outlets, and commercial search tools. A link is not an endorsement. Those services control their own content, availability, prices, and data practices, and visitors should review their terms.

No Warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free of errors or security flaws, or that an outside search result is comprehensive.

Custody and public-record information can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, a court, or another government body.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its operators, and partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's misuse of the site or breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless otherwise identified, the site's original text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to Lincoln County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without written permission, except where law permits.

Updates to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted, and continued use after posting means the visitor accepts the revision.

Ending or Limiting Access

Access may be suspended, restricted, or ended at any time and without advance notice, including when use threatens security, violates these terms, or disrupts other visitors.

Colorado Law Controls

Colorado law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Colorado.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited only as much as needed. Every remaining provision will continue in effect.
